If you have ever owned a Lab, you know they LOVE to...RETRIEVE! When Nitschke retrieves his favorite ball, he has to dunk it in his water bucket...why? Because he's Nitschke! :-)
Conny, probably that and the infactuation that he has with his water bucket! I'm just happy he doesn't knock over the bucket and spill the water out each time he does it!! :-)
Maybe it's to wash the slobber off the ball - how thoughtful of him. What an unusual habit.
