Back again...

I thought I could keep up with some "blogging consistency"...but it proved too daunting of a task!!! But, realistically, there hasn't been too much to blog about except football and the damn weather, both of which probably will bore most!!! So that being said, I'll keep it short and sweet...

The Packers won Super Bowl 45!!! Go Pack!!!...

And the weather...ahhhh...yes, the weather!!! Gloomy, cold, windy, snowy, icy weather...You know it is really cold when your fingers start to "sting" even though they are inside leather gloves..after only ten minutes outside!!!

"Snow Art" by Wind

Tell me again...how do we get inside the garage???

Our neighbors to the NE of us blaze a trail in the fresh fallen snow...

Calm "after" the storm...

The "Orange and Blue Ball"...

Prince Nitschke...

Close-up of a snowflake on my nose...

Molly took my toy...

I soooo handsome...

Molly with a huge icicle she found "outside" and snuck "inside"...

The chicken's stretch their legs on fresh marsh hay layed down by yours truly!!! They only make it outside if the temperature is in the mid to high teens with little to no wind!!!

Can I PLEASE come in now???

Nitschke keeping a close eye on his ball while he eats...

  1. I had forgotten how much dogs love icicles. We had one that would bring them in too. Used to really upset mom...LOL.

  2. Oh. My. Gawd!!! I can't begin to tell you how much I lovelovelove that 3rd photo!! It's that one critter at the front, the loner, the rebel, the one foraging a trail for the rest of the herd. Did he get into some *rye* grass and get hammered? Look at the zig zagedness of his trail!! (hey, I KNOW zagedness isn't a word, but I had to use it! )

Oh, and let that gorgeous dog in already!!!

  3. Oh! One of my past GSD's use to do that with his ball too....always always kept it close to him. Guarding it. In the food bowl while eating, between his legs while sleeping, and in his mouth at most other times. :))

  4. Denise, thank goodness we finally bought a refrigerator with an ice maker!!! The dogs are the biggest recipients of the ice!!! Whenever Molly goes out, she always grabs a big mouthful of snow...

  5. HH, we are so lucky, we are about a 1/4 mile from the elk pasture, they actually have three separate pastures to "zig-zag" through :-)
...we actually are so close we can sometimes witness the female's giving birth, it is awesome!!!
