Pics of the morning...

Put me BACK in the compost bin NOW PLEASE!

What a Hobbit sees as he walks through out garden!

Sunrise on the farm..

mmmm....chocolate tomato's

Good morning everyone! I was up at 4:47am and when I went out to the garage, to my joyful surprise, the boys had made it through the night without an accident in their kennels! Yeah! We're almost there, another few weeks and I'm confident they will be totally kennel trained. Just wanted to share a couple pics from this beautiful start to a Tuesday morning before I head out!
Enjoy the day!

Peace!

  1. Yes, one of the greatest photography tricks is getting out into the morning and evening light. Great pics! I love the toadstool one. :)

  2. Great pictures. I wanna know how the tomatoes taste. I've seen them and thought about ordering some.

  3. Faith, thanks, but they pale in comparison to your pics. I need to be more creative, play around with settings more. But for a point and shoot, I'm very satisfied with it. Unfortunately, I have to put my coffee down to take the pictures, which is difficult first thing in the morning! :-)

  4. Tracey, they are so juicy, and they have a completely different taste than the typical cherry tomato, you should definitely grow some, very well worth the effort. JD also grows the yellow ones, I think they are called pear tomato's, not sure. Those are also extremely good and tasty! :-)

  5. ooohhh chocolate cherry tomatoes are the best. We grew them the first time this year and will be planting them again next year. Love the hobbit pic too!

  6. Denise, thanks for stopping by and commenting on my blog! What else do you guys plant? Our garden is coming along pretty well, we are new to homesteading, our second garden season. I really am just the grunt worker, my wife is the brains behind our garden, she figures out what grows best next to what, lays it all out, plants it, keeps track of plantings and harvestings dates, and I basically till, pull weeds, dig holes and do what she tells me to do in the garden. It works out best that way! LOL
