Monday morning garden visit...

Morning everyone!!! Took a brief walk to the garden this morning to pick some veggies...had to stop and capture more shots of our sunflowers, although their life is coming to an end...nonetheless, they are still vibrant and anxious to greet the morning sun!!!

Peace...R Dean

The one in the center has to be close to 12ft. tall...

Good morning Sun...

One of many Cherry's that need to be picked...

Variety of freshly picked tomato's still cool and moist...

Squash, a lone cuke and zuke, all of which are slowing down...maybe another half-dozen of each for the season...

  1. My, you are ambitious so early in the morning! Good for you. Many of our sunflowers, too, are drooping, but some are still just coming out. The birds will be enjoying the seeds in the next couple of months!

  3. Nancy, I am an early riser, usually up by 5-ish or so, but now it is not getting light until almost 5:45am, so getting out there while it is still kind of dark is problematic (no lights near our coop)...I miss having extra light during in the am and pm...but just ahead is Fall, so that is promising too!!!

  4. I soooo missed not growing tomatoes this year. *sniff sniff*. Next year for certain though, I already have picked out the spot.

    Beautiful sunflowers!
